There is so much more to Cannes than just its annual Film Festival, although the influence that this simply massive event has on the region is not to be underestimated. Each May, the Cannes Film Festival brings some of Hollywood's biggest stars to the city and even though it lasts just a couple of weeks, Cannes manages to bask in its glory long after.

However, outside of May, Cannes still manages to attract tourists in their droves, who come to this part of southern France to enjoy the endless sunshine and beautiful stretches of sand.
